Fisheye & right angle viewfinder

May 08

Since the plan is to go to the lake district I figured that an ultra wide-angle lens might be necessary. The DA 12-24mm/f4 is of course an ideal choice — except for the price. I would surely go for the legendary FA 85mm/f1.4 instead if I am willing to pay that amount of money. What is next? I am sorry but there is no other choice of ultra wide-angle lens for pentax aps-c digital cameras…Oh wait, here comes an even wider stuff. Though instead of an actual “ultra wide-angle” lens it is really a “fisheye”. We have photoshop. Here is some samples imgp6148.jpgimgp6150.jpgimgp6163.jpgimgp6155.jpg And also I got a right angle viewfinder from John. That is the stuff I have wanted for months. God knows all my needs :) Here are some pictures taken with this viedwfinder and Jena 35mm/f2.4 imgp6167.jpgimgp6174.jpgimgp6175.jpgimgp6176.jpgimgp6177.jpg

  1. Great photos from the fish-eye — needs a little adjustment to keep the eye-level truly parallel (I think.0

The right angle finder looks like it will be a useful tool! Excellent purchase. Now if only you could get that 85 1.4 – perhaps you should get it in OM fit.
